Power Restored To About 4,000 UCEMC Putnam Customers

In the past 12 hours, the Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation has restored about 4,000 outages in Putnam County. According to Mayor Randy Porter, about 6,500 customers are still without electricity. The Cookeville Electric Department has less than 300 without power. UCEMC is reporting that approxitmately 11,000 customers are without power in Putnam County. Mayor Randy Porter said it is a long list of areas affected by outages. Brotherton, Buck Mountain Water Restored

Water is back on for the Brotherton and Buck Mountain areas after power is back online at the pumping station. Putnam County Sheriff Eddie Farris said multiple roads are blocked across the county Monday evening with trees down. Putnam County Sheriffs Dispatchers reported side roads “very bad” across the county as freezing rain fell overnight. Multiple calls of vehicles off the road and not able to move, according to dispatchers. Baxter Approves Utility Agreement For Subdivision Project
