Monterey Breaks Ground On Sewer Plant After Long Road

Monterey broke ground on its Water Resource Recovery Facility, the culmination of an over $13 million sewer system rehabilitation on Thursday. Algood Rejects Park Bids, Working On Lowering Costs To Rebid

All bids were rejected for phase one of Algood’s future 21-acre park during Tuesday night’s city council meeting. The lowest bid came in at $1,054,900. The Putnam County Budget Committee recommended a 10-cent property tax increase for the coming year during its Monday meeting.
