Trees Down In Overton From Late Day Storms

Severe storms producing multiple trees down in Overton County Wednesday afternoon. Emergency Management reports trees downed along Preston Street, Bradford Hicks Drive, Cross Avenue, Oakley Allons Rd, Poplar Springs Rd, Hunter Cove Rd, Willow Grove Highway at Stover Rd, and Garrett Mill Rd. Long-time Cookeville Business, The Appliance Mart, is closing after operating for more than fifty years.
