Starting on Monday Cookeville will be smoke testing the sanitary sewer system in various locations, including the Deberry Heights area. State Paying Off $8.5 Million Railroad Loan For Putnam

An $8.5 million loan to keep railroad tracks in place and usable in Putnam County will be paid off by TDOT. Mayor Randy Porter said the decision came Friday. Monterey Breaks Ground On Sewer Plant After Long Road

Monterey broke ground on its Water Resource Recovery Facility, the culmination of an over $13 million sewer system rehabilitation on Thursday.
