The Upper Cumberland is getting some attention from the state in this year’s proposed budget. State Senator Paul Bailey said that there is private investment from Charter Communications into rural broadband expansion. Cookeville-Putnam Road Salt Supply Put To Use This Winter

Cookeville Public Works and The Putnam County Highway Department combined to use 150 tons of salt this past weekend. The Live Well Clinic in Monterey will be named in honor of Dr. Larry Reed after approval during Monday night’s Board of Aldermen meeting. Weekly Putnam Co. Grocery Giveaway Begins Friday

Cookeville Strong, Tennessee Tech and Putnam County have partnered to create a weekly grocery giveaway that starts Friday.
