The Jefferson Avenue widening project is still in its property acquisition phase, but remains on track for bidding in March 2021. Putnam County Highway crews removed the barricades and debris to reopen City Lake Bridge on Monday. Road Supervisor Randy Jones said TDOT inspected the bridge last week and gave clearance to reopen Monday morning. Livingston Courthouse Design Fees Under Negotiation

Livingston is in the process of negotiating fees with a design consultant for courthouse plaza renovations. Livingston Downtown Revitalization Chairman Ray Evans said he does not know if negotiations will be successful, but expects construction to begin in the Fall of 2021. City To Begin Jefferson Sewer Exploration

Cookeville is preparing to begin an assessment on the sewer system on Jefferson Avenue. Cookeville Water and Sewer Director Ronnie Kelly said the department has taken bids to begin video monitoring the sewer to check the condition.
