Water Line Replacement on Willow

Water line replacement is underway on Willow Avenue in Cookeville. Cookeville Police are investigating the theft of a fully-labeled T-DOT truck. The keys had been left inside at the TDOT office on Ferrell Drive. Jackson Co Guardrail Work On SR 56 & 262

Guardrail work will begin on State Route 85 through Jackson County Monday. The road may be reduced to one-lane this week at various points as workers repair and replace guardrails from the Smith County line to State Route 56. Utility Easements Next Step In Jefferson Widening

The City of Cookeville will take the next step in the widening of South Jefferson Avenue by relocating utilities. Ronnie Kelly, Director of the Water and Sewer Department, said the $95,000 dollar project will involve Consolidated Technologies working to obtain new easements.
