TWRA Stocking Cane Creek Park With 3,000 Trout

1,500 rainbow trout made their way into the wild at Cane Creek Park Wednesday, after a second stocking by TWRA on Wednesday. A Putnam County residence has lost a garage and vehicle during a Tuesday night fire on Calfkiller Highway. Sales Tax Revenues Up 7.3% In November

November sales tax revenues across Putnam County increased some 7.3 percent over last year. Putnam County and its four communities collected over $3.97 million in November. $3.1 million of those sales tax receipts were collected in Cookeville. Baxter and Monterey saw sales tax increases of at least 23 percent each in November. Baxter’s November receipts increased 30 percent over 2019. ... Read More »

The Upper Cumberland Chapter of Military Officers Association of America made the decision to donate to a special cause.
