Monterey has been granted a summary judgement Friday on the easement for Bee Rock. Monterey Mayor JJ Reels said the dispute was between the city and near by property owners over the trail leading to Bee Rock. Monterey Beer Board Approves Changes

Monterey restaurants could now serve alcohol outdoors after the beer board approved three amendment changes. Under the changes, vendors can sample alcohol at the farmer’s market. Severe Accident In Monterey

A severe accident took place in Monterey at the Holly Street and Stratton Avenue intersection. The accident involved a juvenile and adult. The adult was transported to Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Police Chief Bill Randolph said the accident Monday took place between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. Multiple emergency crews arrived on scene. The town of Monterey has a new city attorney. Cookeville Attorney Brett Knight has accepted the invitation from Mayor J.J Reels. Monterey’s Standing Stone Care Rehab is asking for pen pals for its residents. The center is posting photos of residents online including their interests for personalized letters and packages.
