An Illinois man was cited for not having his drivers license following a crash on I-40 Tuesday morning. Planning Commission Approves Bunker Hill Rezoning

The Cookeville Planning Commission has approved a rezoning request for property on 1501 Bunker Hill Road, despite opposition from surrounding residents. Injury Accident Reported on I-40 Near Cookeville

An accident on I-40 eastbound was reported Tuesday morning just outside of Cookeville. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck a guard rail near Exit 290. A statement from the THP indicates injuries were reported. No word on the number of vehicles involved. The driver of the vehicle has not yet been identified and their condition is unknown. A body found in the Cookeville Walmart parking lot Monday is believed to be that of a man recently reported missing. The body of the unidentified man will undergo an autopsy at the Medical Examiner’s office in Nashville to determine a cause of death. Cookeville Man Arrested at Red Roof Inn

A Cookeville man faces multiple charges after a drug investigation at the Red Roof Inn last night. Authorities charged Benjamin Miller, 33, with criminal impersonation, possess, manufacture, or sell methamphetamine, and felony possession of a firearm. Man Found Dead At Cookeville Walmart

An investigation is underway in Putnam County after a man was found dead Monday evening. According to officials with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, the unidentified man was found inside a vehicle parked at the Cookeville Walmart.
