Flooding Causes Issues In Putnam County

Flood waters entered several businesses in Monterey early Wednesday morning and forced several roads to close across the county. Putnam County EMA officials said at least 12 inches of water entered a business on Crossville Street in Monterey. Possible Tornado Causes Damage In Fentress County

A possible tornado touched down in Fentress County just after midnight Wednesday. Overton County Emergency Management joined Fentress County officials at the area just off Muddy Pond Road. According to Overton EMA, residents heard a “train coming through.” Upon arrival, officials found a home at 1870 Campground Road off its foundation with trees down. Overton County EMA officials said all the trees appeared to be blown down in the same direction.
