Baxter Man Leads Deputies On High Speed Chase

A 20-year-old Baxter man led Putnam County deputies on a high speed chase Wednesday morning. Authorities arrested Joshua Layne Clemons for reckless endangerment, evading arrest, and theft of property. He has not yet posted his $30,500 bond. Baxter Woman Charged After I-40 Crash

A Baxter woman faces charges after her vehicle struck a motorcycle on Interstate 40 Tuesday. The accident happened near westbound mile marker 284 in Putnam County.
