A single-engine plane crashed near the Jackson County Airport Tuesday. Jackson County EMA reports the crash happened when the plane experienced a mechanical issue and attempted to make an emergency landing. Woman Allegedly Runs Across Highway To Flee Police

A Cookeville woman allegedly stole sandwiches from Walmart Monday before fleeing from Algood Police and running across Highway 111.
