Algood Police officers made two heroin arrests during separate incidents Friday. The first incident occurred when authorities arrested Jonathon Clark and Derrick Griffin at Speedway. A Sparta resident who played in Super Bowl VI died Thursday. 70-year-old Dale Farley passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Farley played outside linebacker for the Miami Dolphins during their 1972 Super Bowl VI appearance. The Dolphins drafted Farley in the third round of the 1971 NFL draft.
