Tennessee to Offer Tax-Free Shopping Weekend

Citizens may purchase clothing, school supplies, and computers tax-free this weekend. Tennessee tax-free weekend begins every year on the last Friday of July and ends on the following Sunday. Cookeville Hosts American Motorcyclist Nationals

Cookeville will host the American Motorcyclist Association Nationals this weekend. A press release states the Association will bring nearly 200 hillclimb riders to Buffalo Valley at the Middle Tennessee Dragway. Motorcyclists will race a 500-foot ascent during the two-day competition. The competition is a first for Cookeville and for Tennessee. Livingston Property Board Failed To Meet Quorum

A lack of a quorum kept the Livingston Property Maintenance Advisory Committee from having it’s monthly meeting Monday.
