Cookeville Hosts American Motorcyclist Nationals

Cookeville will host the American Motorcyclist Association Nationals this weekend.

A press release states the Association will bring nearly 200 hillclimb riders to Buffalo Valley at the Middle Tennessee Dragway.

Motorcyclists will race a 500-foot ascent during the two-day competition.

The competition is a first for Cookeville and for Tennessee. The American Motorcyclist Association announced the relocation last fall.
