Putnam Set To Reduce Interest Costs By $1.8M

Putnam County should save some $1.8 million in interest costs by refinancing the bonds on Monterey and Upperman schools. Bullet Resistant Glass Coming To Monterey

The town of Monterey will introduce safety renovations to city hall and the police department by installing bullet resistant windows. Monterey Mayor Bill Wiggins said the City Hall’s Water Clerk and City Recorder will receive bullet resistant glass upgrades for their windows. Bids for Bee Rock’s site improvement and installation of prefabricated restroom facilities are complete. Enviro Loo USA won the bid for the prefabricated bathrooms at $23,502.45.
