Clay Commission Unanimously Approves Joint Celina EMS Contract

Clay County Commission unanimously approved the joint EMS contract with the city of Celina at its meeting Monday night.

Mayor Dale Reagan said that the 3-year contract had no changes from the one approved by the Celina Alderman at its April meeting. According to Celina Mayor Luke Collins, the Clay Ambulance Committee and city agreed on a some $464,000 contract with a 2-3 percent yearly increase.

Collins said the agreed-upon contract was a happy medium for both the county and city. Reagan said that the new contract will go into effect at the start of the new fiscal year on July 1st.
