Algood Updates Building Permit Extension Fees

City of Algood has updated its building permit code to change extension fees. Building Inspector Bob Lane said the permits have a six-month life. Human Remains Found Believed To Be Missing Baxter Man

Human remains found in Putnam County Wednesday believed to be those of missing person Perry Isaac Bowman. The 35-year-old Baxter resident was reported missing on December 1st after his father had not heard from him since September. Cookeville FD Responds To Montgomery Ave. Fire

A fire last night on Cookeville’s Montgomery Avenue caused significant damage to a vacant duplex.
