Woman Charged After False Report

Cookeville Police arrested a woman after she falsely reported a man was holding a gun on a child. Cookeville Police Major Carl Sells said 43-year-old Mary Lenora Jean Triplett was charged with public intoxication and filing a false report. The police were alerted just before noon Tuesday. Two Injured In 3-Car Pileup Following Eclipse

Two people were injured Monday in a three-car accident following the eclipse. DeKalb County Home Total Loss After Fire

A DeKalb County home was destroyed by fire Sunday evening. The home, just outside Alexandria, was fully involved when firefighters arrived on scene. They said it was a total loss. Two Found Dead In DeKalb County Sunday

Two people were found dead in a trailer in Smithville Sunday. The deceased have been identified as 51-year-old Douglas Ray Ferrell and 45-year-old Angel Dawn Ferrell.
