Tennessee leads the nation in students applying for federal financial aid. Officials use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA as an indicator of the number of high school seniors intending to go to postsecondary education. TDEC Offering Grant Program

Local governments and nonprofits may get a little greener thanks to TDEC grants. Grant funding can be used toward purchasing recycling equipment, recycling rebates, the management of used oil/automotive fluids, convenience centers, education and outreach, and recycling measurement.
