Cookeville Man Pleads Guilty To Statutory Rape

A Cookeville man has pleaded guilty to a statutory rape charge. 21-year-old Terrence Phillips received a 1-year suspended sentence during his Monday morning court case. He will also serve 11 months and 29 days of supervised probation for violating a protective order. TTU Trustees Approve Reduction To Out-Of-State Tuition

Crossville Woman Injured In Highway 70 Crash

A Crossville woman suffered injuries during a two-vehicle crash in Cumberland County Thursday morning. 77-year-old Theresa Hawkins received treatment at Cumberland Medical Center. The Crossville City Council has awarded a $1.27 million bid for replacing Brookhaven Drive and Highland Lane waterlines. Livingston Water Flow Project Making Progress

The City of Livingston has begun a project to increase water flow to residents in the Hilham area. Cookeville Man Arrested After Pursuit Ends In Jackson County

A Cookeville man faces multiple charges for a Wednesday night vehicle pursuit. Algood Police charged Christopher Kyle Speigel with aggravated assault, evading arrest, and reckless endangerment.
