Final Plat Approved For New Neighborhood In Eastern Putnam Co.

Putnam County Regional Planning Commissioners have approved the final plat for a new neighborhood in eastern Putnam County. McMinnville Man Airlifted Following Tuesday Crash

A McMinnville man suffered injuries during a Tuesday crash on Smithville Highway in Warren County. A helicopter airlifted 59-year-old Grady Harper to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment. His condition remains unknown. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said Harper was traveling south when his Ford Explorer went off the roadway and flipped. Monterey will begin searching for funding mechanisms to install bioretention areas throughout town. Cookeville Woman Killed In Tuesday Night Crash

A Two-vehicle crash in Putnam County killed a Cookeville woman Tuesday night. Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased as 46-year-old Karen Madewell. The accident happened just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 111 and Quinland Lake Road.
