Cookeville Police arrested a man Saturday for allegedly assaulting his wife and two daughters at their Woodland Avenue home. 41-year-old Romelio Martinez faces two counts of assault and one count of aggravated assault. BOLO Issued After High Speed Pursuit

Putnam County authorities have issued a BOLO alert after a high-speed pursuit Monday morning. The chase began when troopers attempted to stop a grey Nissan Altima on Interstate 40 westbound near the 291-mile marker. Anti-Fraternization Policy Change Up For Consideration Tuesday

Cumberland County Shooting Victim Identified

Cumberland County authorities have identified the person who died during a Saturday night shooting in Lake Tansi. Sheriff Casey Cox said 74-year-old Linda Damewood of Crossville was found dead at the scene. Authorities did not release the names of two other victims who suffered injuries. The man who died in a Jackson County house fire has been identified as 46-year-old James Shannon Johnson. Authorities found Johnson inside a single-wide trailer that caught fire Friday morning.
