Spring City Man Killed In Cumberland County Crash

A Thursday morning crash in Cumberland County claimed the life of a Spring City man. The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the deceased as 28-year-old Phillip Perry. Officials said the crash happened at the intersection of Highway 127 South and Hillendale Road when Perry lost control of his 2009 Chevrolet Colbalt and struck a utility pole. Pickett County sheriff’s deputies discovered a box of hand grenades and a meth lab during a drug investigation last week. The Pickett County Sheriff’s Office released a statement Thursday that said the discovery occurred at a home in the Taylor’s Crossroads Community. Sutherland Sentenced For Church Burglary

A DeKalb County judge has sentenced a man for a church burglary that occurred earlier this year. 21-year-old Isaiah Sutherland entered a plea this week to one count of burglary and received a two year jail sentence. Stonepeak Ceramics Expanding Operations In Crossville

160 full-time jobs will be created at Crossville’s Stonepeak Ceramics over the next five years.
