TDOT To Conduct Shoulder Repairs In Putnam County Thursday

Tennessee Department of Transportation maintenance crews will be conducting shoulder repairs on Interstate 40 Thursday. THP Identifies Monday Evening Crash Victims

A Monday evening crash in Putnam County claimed the life of two people and injured another. The crash happened at 5:27 pm on Highway 62 in Monterey. The Tennessee Highway Patrol has identified the deceased as 24-year-old Rudy G. Levine of Grimsley and 24-year-old Jesse L. Morrison of Jellico. 42-year-old James M. At least two people died after two vehicles crashed in Putnam County Monday evening. The crash happened on Clarkrange Highway. The Tennessee Highway Patrol has responded to investigate. Putnam County schools began using a new anonymous tip line Monday.
