Moss Man Killed In DUI Accident Monday Morning

A Moss man lost his life Monday morning in a driving while impaired accident on Celina’s Highway 52. 21-year-old Anthony K. Curtis of Moss ran off the right side of Highway 52 while driving westbound around 3am Monday morning. Court Of Appeals Upholds Sisco’s Sentence

The Tennessee Court of Appeals upheld the conviction and sentence of a Putnam County man found guilty on charges of raping his daughter. Perry Lewis Sisco had asked the court to overturn the conviction. A Crossville woman faces domestic assault charges after she tried to wake up his husband by slapping him across the face. 21-year-old Chelsea Austin entered her husband’s bedroom and tried to wake him Friday morning around 5:30am. A vehicle set to be repossessed by a Crossville dealership ended up being stolen from the owner’s front yard. Cookeville Police Looking For Witnesses To Fatal Wreck

Cookeville Police want to talk with anyone who might have witnessed a fatal car accident on South Willow Avenue Friday night. 44-year old Eric Michael Swanson of Cookeville died in the accident that occurred in the 200 block of South Willow Avenue. Two Upper Cumberland girls basketball teams will represent the area in this week’s state basketball tournament. Pairings announced Sunday tipoff Wednesday as (30-2) Pickett County takes on (31-2) Greenfield at 4:30pm.
