Man Arrested For Intoxication At Jackson Plaza

Police arrested a Cookeville man early Monday morning after finding him unresponsive in the Jackson Plaza Shopping Center. 47-year-old Donovan S. Long-Time Upperman Coach & Educator Passes

The 31-year coach of the Upperman Bees Boys Basketball team has died. 69-year-old Larry McCaleb died late Saturday. The former Cookeville High School All-Conference performer became an educator in 1971. In 1976, McCaleb moved to Upperman High School, where he coached boys basketball until his 2001 retirement.
