The Tennessee Comptroller’s Office found two minor issues in its latest audit of the Overton County Health and Rehab Center. Jamestown Man Dies In I-40 Crash Thursday Morning

A Jamestown man died in a one-vehicle crash along Smith County’s Interstate 40 overnight. 47-year old Charles Case died when he lost control of his vehicle and slid off the left shoulder striking a guard rail. McMinnville Adopts Tier II Action Steps

Tornado Distribution Center Moving

The Putnam County Tornado Survivors’ Distribution Center will open in a new location Friday. The center will move to 620 South Jefferson Avenue, in the shopping center adjacent to Electronic Express. Three-Weekend Push Of Volunteers Needed For Highway 70

Volunteers will be needed the next three weekends to help transition the Highway 70 cleanup. “We’re leaving the cleanup phase and entering the recovery phase,” Putnam County EMA Director of Volunteers Kevin Tucker said.
