Lee Closes Schools Until April 24

UCEMC Waives Late Fees; Stops Service Disconnections

Upper Cumberland Electric will suspend service disconnections for non-payment effective immediately to help community members struggling financially. The first Overton County coronavirus case reported Tuesday, bringing the Upper Cumberland total to 13. The number of Putnam County cases increased to eight. Tennessee Tech President Dr. Phil Oldham announced the postponement of spring commencement Tuesday. In an email to campus, Oldham said student leaders will plan a celebratory event at a different time. 381 Headbands Created By UC 3-D Printers

State officials will pickup 381 headbands created by Upper Cumberland 3D printers just after 1pm Tuesday. The headbands will be used to create medical masks to be used by health officials during the coronavirus outbreak.
