Saturday COVID-19 Cases In UC At 7

The number of Upper Cumberland COVID-19 cases stands at seven, according to the Tennessee Department Of Health. Jack Ray, the longtime chairman of the Bank of Putnam County, passed away Friday at his home. The Monterey resident died at the age of 84. Putnam County Schools To Launch Drive-By Meals

Grab and go meals will be available to all young people 18 and under in Putnam County beginning Monday. Drive-Thru Testing Friday In Cookeville

Cars began lining up around 1:00pm Friday for coronavirus drive-thru testing through the Putnam County Health Department. Health department workers with facemasks, scrubs, and gloves greeted the vehicles to get patient information. About 15 cars were in line at any time during the two-hour tests. No reports of damage after a small thunderstorm produced a tornado warning across Overton County Friday. Overton County Emergency Officials report no damage reports or sightings of a funnel cloud.
