Putnam County saw an 11.6 percent increase in sales tax revenue for the 2021-22 fiscal year. Some $44 million dollars compared to $39 million last fiscal year. Putnam County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest following a three-month drug investigation. 21-year-old Jamichael Brian Lewis of Chattanooga was arrested at a Gainesboro Grade resident on Tuesday morning.
