The Putnam County Library will reopen to the public Monday. The Board of Trustees voted Tuesday to move onto the second phase of the library’s reopening plan. Putnam Co Senior Wristbands Ready Wednesday

Putnam County graduating seniors can pick up wristbands for their four guests Wednesday. Cookeville pickup will take place from 9am-Noon Wednesday. Monterey seniors can pickup wristbands from 11am-4pm Wednesday. Upperman wristband pickup will take place from 8am-Noon Wednesday. Tech Postpones On-Campus Athletic Activities Until July

Tennessee Tech’s athletic department will not have on campus athletics until at least July. The NCAA Council voted to allow on campus voluntary activities beginning June 1. Three-Vehicle Crash Friday Night On SR-56

A three-vehicle accident along Highway 56 in Putnam County Friday night resulted in injuries to a 20-year-old driver. A man arrested 29 previous times in Putnam County has been arrested again, this time for dealing methamphetamine. The number of COVID-19 cases in Putnam County topped 500 Tuesday, becoming the 11th county in the state to pass that mark. The Tennessee Department of Health reports 507 cases across Putnam County.
