The Cumberland County Campus of Roane State Community College is offering a food pantry to assist students during difficult times. Cumberland Co. Sales Tax Numbers Above Projections

Cumberland County’s sales tax revenues are still up over last year even with a slow month of collections in April. Exit 317 Repairs Will Slow Weekend I-40 Traffic

Expect traffic delays this weekend on Cumberland County’s portion of Interstate 40. Bridge deck repairs on US 127 over I-40 will close one I-40 lane in each direction beginning Friday at 7pm. Putnam County COVID Cases Top 200

Putnam County’s number of positive COVID-19 tests reached 204 Thursday, according to the Tennessee Department Of Health. That equates to .25 percent of the county’s population. Statewide, 16,699 people have tested positive. The total Upper Cumberland case count reached 500 Thursday. 292 of those impacted or 58 percent of those tested have already recovered from the coronavirus. Some 5,600 people have tested ... The Cumberland County Health Department will add expanded testing hours Thursday. Thursday, testing will be held from 1pm to 6pm at the Health Department located at 1503 South Main Street. Three Arrested After High Speed Chase Thursday Night

Three suspects arrested Thursday night after a high-speed pursuit of a stolen vehicle ended on Monterey’s Highway 70 North. Monterey Police Chief Bill Randolph said the vehicle drove through two spike strips before being stopped.
