Cumberland Co. I-40 East Temporary Closure

Temporary road closures are coming to I-40 East in Cumberland County tonight while permanent overhead signs are installed. From 9:00 p.m. to midnight, T-DOT will be using rolling roadblocks between mile markers 329 and 340. COVID Voters and Absentee Ballots Come In On Election Day

Cumberland, Fentress and Van Buren County said they have all seen absentee ballots and COVID positive voters turn up on Election Day. Cumberland County Election Commission Administrator Jill Davis has seen the most of both so far, with 33 absentee ballots and about 16 voters using the COVID tent. TCAT Crossville Expanding, Adding High Demand Program

Crossville’s TCAT campus is expanding with a 12,000 square foot, $2 million dollar learning space. Cumberland EMS Adds Automated CPR Devices

Cumberland County Emergency Medical Services has improved its capabilities by purchasing four new LUCAS devices. The lightweight mechanical device automatically delivers chest compressions for patients needing prolonged CPR.
