CRMC Reports 20th COVID Death

Cookeville Regional reported its 20th COVID-19 fatality Tuesday. The patient from White County passed away in the overnight hours, according to Cookeville Regional Public Relations Director Melahn Finley. 16th CRMC Death From COVID-19 Wednesday

A Putnam County resident died of COVID-19 at Cookeville Regional Wednesday morning. That brings the pandemic death toll to 16 at Cookeville Regional. Putnam County has 435 active cases currently according to the Tennessee Department Of Health. CRMC reports 24 inpatients positive with COVID-19. Cookeville Regional Changes Visitors Policy

Cookeville Regional will change its visitor policy effective Thursday. One designated visitor will be allowed per inpatient. A 13th patient has died from COVID-19 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, the fourth death reported in the last week. Cookeville Regional reported its 12th COVID death as a patient with other health issues passed away. As of Thursday afternoon, CRMC reports 22 patients hospitalized who tested positive for COVID. 11 of those are intensive care. CRMC Set To Upgrade 50+ Beds

Cookeville Regional will upgrade 43 patient beds and nine stretchers under a plan approved by the CRMC Finance Committee.
