COVID Positivity Rates Across UC Over 17 Percent Monday

COVID positivity rates stand at 17 percent or higher in all the counties of the Upper Cumberland Monday. CRMC Looking To Purchase Surgery Center

The Cookeville Regional Finance Committee approved the purchase of the Upper Cumberland Physicians Surgery Center at its Tuesday meeting. An outside firm assessed the building and the operation at $3.835 million. Cookeville Regional will pay $1.9 million or 50 percent of the fair market evaluation. 3 COVID Deaths Over Weekend At CRMC

CRMC Suspending Elective Surgeries With Overnight Stays

Cookeville Regional will suspend elective surgeries that require overnight stays effective immediately. Hospitalizations Reach 64 From COVID

COVID hospitalizations at Cookeville Regional Medical Center reached 64 Monday, doubling the rate of just a month ago. The rate sets a new high at CRMC, according to Public Relations Director Melahn Finley. Cookeville Regional recorded an additional COVID death over the weekend, the 44th since the pandemic began. The number of positive COVID cases at Cookeville Regional Medical Center reached 42 Monday, a new high. Seven additional tests are pending. Two more positive COVID patients died at Cookeville Regional overnight Thursday. One patient who died is from Cumberland County, the other from Jackson County.
