Cookeville PD Investigating Incident Friday Involving Multiple Deaths

Cookeville Police Department investigating multiple deaths Friday involving a woman and two teens.

Cookeville Police Department PIO Lieutenant Anthony Leonard said officers were called to an apartment complex on 600 West 8th Street Friday morning. He said once officers entered the residence, they discovered 36-year-old Pamela Spurlock, 15-year-old Steven Spurlock, and 14-year-old Emma Spurlock deceased in the residence.

Leonard said the cause of death is still under investigation. Leonard said investigators believe this is an isolated incident, and the general public is not in any danger.

Leonard said the Cookeville Police Department extends its most sincere thoughts and prayers to the family and all others affected by this tragic event.
