Murfreesboro Man Injured In Putnam County Crash

A Murfreesboro man suffered injuries Saturday after his Toyota Rav struck the end of a guardrail in Putnam County. The accident happened near the 286 mile marker of Interstate 40. 64-year-old Timothy Callahan received medical treatment at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. His condition remains unknown. Man Rescued From White County Cave

Multiple rescue teams pulled an injured man from a cave in northeastern White County early Saturday morning. The Sparta-White County Rescue Squad responded the scene after receiving a call at 6:01 p.m. Friday. Monterey Flooding Project To Start By March 2

Elk Mountain Construction will begin working to address Monterey’s flooding problem within the next 45 days. Town officials said the $124,403 project will begin on or before March 2. Friday Crash Injures Cookeville Man

A Cookeville man suffered injuries during a Friday morning crash in Overton County. The single-vehicle accident happened on Highway 293. The Tennessee Highway Patrol said 47-year-old Jeffery D.
