The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has called for a voluntary load reduction as the state experiences a heat spell. Neal Street Traffic Signal Installation Nearly Complete

A new traffic light will soon be operational at the intersection of Neal Street and Perimeter Park Drive in Cookeville. A White County man has landed behind bars for allegedly leading Cookeville Police on a vehicle pursuit. Cookeville Police Officers charged Brian Trae Mcwhirter with evading arrest.
