Morrison Man Dies After Being Pinned At Plant

A Morrison man died Monday when a steel mold fell on him as he worked at Warren County’s Bridgestone plant. 33-year-old Beau Christopher Lowe died at Riverpark Hospital from major internal injuries. Jamestown City Hall Closed For Repairs

Jamestown City Hall will be closed beginning Tuesday for repairs and maintenance. Mayor Lyndon Baines said the main offices and the service window will both be closed. Jackson County Senior Center Meal Pickup Increase

Jackson County Senior Center staff are delivering more meals to home bound seniors. UCHRA and Helen’s Restaurant have teamed with the senior centers to provide these meals. Bid Approved For Jamestown Sewer Upgrades

The City Of Jamestown awarded the bid Monday night for upgrades to the city sewer system. Portland Utility Construction submitted the low bid at $531,000 according to Jamestown City Engineer Thomas Bennett. The city received a total of four bids for the project. Putnam County graduating seniors can pick up wristbands for their four guests Wednesday. Cookeville pickup will take place from 9am-Noon Wednesday. Monterey seniors can pickup wristbands from 11am-4pm Wednesday. Upperman wristband pickup will take place from 8am-Noon Wednesday. Eighth District Attorney Jared Effler said asking for a TBI investigation for Saturday night’s Clarkrange shooting is standard.
