A Smith County man faces a charge of methamphetamine after a single vehicle crash on Highway 70 Wednesday. Two Cookeville individuals face drug charges after authorities carried out active warrants Wednesday. Authorities arrested 27-year-old Robert Hedrick and 32-year-old Sarah Spurlock for controlled substance offenses. One Person Killed In Cumberland Co. Crash

A truck driver died following a crash in Cumberland County Wednesday morning. Traffic Stop Leads to Drug-Arrest of Rickman Man

A routine traffic stop led to the drug-related arrest of a Rickman man Saturday. Putnam County authorities charged 33-year-old Joe Murphy with criminal impersonation and possession of methamphetamine. Officials first made contact with Murphy near 6070 Dodson Branch Highway. A Cookeville woman faces multiple charges after leading officers on a pursuit Sunday. Authorities arrested 28-year-old Windie Dunn for driving on a suspended license, evading arrest, and driving under the influence.
