Cookeville Woman Charged with Aggravated Assault

Putnam County Sheriff’s Deputies charged a Cookeville woman with aggravated assault Wednesday. Authorities booked Alyssa Phillips, 23, into the Putnam County Jail on a 25 thousand dollar bond. Memphis Man Sentenced to 30 Years

A Putnam County judge has sentenced Martell Smith of Memphis to 30 years for selling and delivering a controlled substance in a school zone. Three Injured, Suspect At-Large in Clay County Shooting

Authorities are investigating a dead body found just outside of Smithville Monday.

A shooting in Clay County left three people injured Monday morning. Authorities are urging Jennings Creek residents in Jackson County to be on the lookout for a potential suspect in the shooting.
