Mississippi Felony Fugitive Found in Putnam County

Putnam County Authorities arrested a felony fugitive from Mississippi Wednesday. Tennessee Highway Patrol charged 19-year-old Morgan Blakney with criminal impersonation after giving a false name to avoid active warrants out of Tuscaloosa County, Mississippi. Tuscaloosa County filed warrants for Blackney for the offense of malicious mischief and escape, which is a felony. Bloomington Springs Man Faces Weapon Charges

A Bloomington Springs man faces multiple weapon charges following a traffic stop Monday. Authorities arrested 42-year-old Paul David Hunter Jr. for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of possession of prohibited weapon. Cookeville Man Arrested for Aggravated Assault

Authorities arrested a Cookeville man Tuesday in connection with a January domestic incident. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office charged 71-one-year-old Jerry Mack Williams after he allegedly threatened a woman last month.
