Former Fentress County Employee Charged With Theft

A former accounts payable clerk for Fentress County faces possible jail time for allegedly stealing from the county. The Fentress County grand jury has indicted Kellye Crabtree on a charge of theft over $60,000. The county terminated her employment in December, 2018. Monterey Hosting Volunteer Trail Building Day This Weekend

Two People Killed In Tuesday Night Crash In Warren County

A fiery two vehicle crash killed two McMinnville residents and injured another person in Warren County Tuesday night. Motorcycle Collides With Parked Semi Truck Tuesday

A motorcyclist suffered injuries Tuesday after crashing into a parked semi truck in Smith County. The accident happened on Interstate 40 East at the 252 mile marker. Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the driver as 56-year-old Arthur Tindle of Munford, Tennessee. A Cookeville man faces commercial vehicle violations after his tractor trailer overturned Tuesday. The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the driver as 38-year-old Jonathan Jaynes.
