CPD Officers Injured During Wednesday Evening Pursuit

Two Cookeville Police officers suffered injuries during a pursuit with a suspect Wednesday. Jeffrey Scantland faces charges of aggravated reckless endangerment, felony evading arrest, and reckless endangerment. Woman Indicted After Stealing From Group Home

A former manager of a group home facility faces charges for allegedly stealing money from the elderly. Putnam County authorities arrested Cynthia Renae Carr on Tuesday at the Jackson County Citizens Bank. Monterey aldermen approved a $4.7 million budget on Monday. Fairfield Glade Home Invasion Suspect Charged With Attempted Murder

A Crossville man landed behind bars Monday after firing shots during a home invasion. Authorities charged 29-year-old Andrew Nicholas Rich with two counts of attempted first degree murder and one count of aggravated burglary.
