Numerous roads across Clay and Jackson County are flooded according to emergency management officials. Algood Speeding Stop Leads To Drug Arrest

A speeding stop led Algood Police to the arrest of a local man on at least seven charges. Police tried to stop Bobby Harville after his motorcycle was observed traveling at a high rate of speed on Wall Street. A Smithville man has been charged with TennCare fraud after allegedly reporting to the state he had custody of his child to get benefits. 34-year-old Grant Lynch faces charges of fraud and theft of services.
