December 2022 Sales Tax Collections Highest In History For Cookeville And Putnam

Sales tax collections from December 2022 were the highest in history for the City of Cookeville and Putnam County. That’s according to Cookeville City Manager James Mills. He said for the first time ever, total county sales tax collection exceeded $6,000,000 with $4.6 million collected in the City of Cookeville.
