Cookeville Man Indicted with Extortion and Harassment of Judge and Attorneys

An investigation conducted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has resulted in the indictment of  Cookeville man Tyler Dakota Matthews. SlideCKVL cancelled for 2021

SlideCKVL, Cookeville’s two-day summer water party, has been cancelled. The annual event was cancelled due to continued concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19. Traditionally, the event features a thousand-foot waterslide on Broad Street that attracts thousands of visitors during Independence Day weekend.
