Owner Of Sparta’s Peacock Express Looking To Add New Travel Center

Sparta’s Peacock Express is planning to expand its store on Bockman Way. Sparta Codes Officer Mike O’Neal said the owners have submitted plans to add a service center and fast food restaurant. Two Sparta Gas Stations On One Year Probation After Sting Operation

Two Sparta convenience stores have been put on a one year probation for selling alcohol after being caught in a sting operation. Sparta Police Department conducted the compliance checks. Alcorn’s Market and Dixie Mart both sold alcohol to an undercover officer without checking for identification. TTU Enrollment Numbers Projected To Stay Steady For The Fall

Tennessee Tech is expecting the student population to stay steady this fall semester. Putnam Co. Vaccine Drive-Thru Changing Hours Of Operation

Putnam County’s drive-thru vaccination site at the fairgrounds is changing its hours. Starting this week, the South Walnut Avenue location will operate Monday through Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Thursday noon to 6:30 p.m. and Friday 7:00 a.m. to noon.
